Pincade Classics sports the following features:

 

1)  19-inch rotating monitor (driven by a linear actuator motor) that is software driven to rotate to the appropriate horizontal or vertical position depending on the game being played.





2)  5-speaker system - 2 top mount (traditional spot under marquee position), 2 front side speakers, and 1 subwoofer mounted to the top slant with external velcro-mounted 2-inch round volume control "pod"




 

 

3)  Detachable 22.25" wide 2-player control panel:

  • a genuine chrome pinball lockbar
  • 2 8-way/4-way switchable (from the top) joysticks
  • 7 buttons per player
  • 4 pinball buttons (2 on each side)
  • a full-size (3-inch) trackball, pearl translucent with 3-color selectable (red/green/blue LEDs) selected from toggle switches on the back of CP)
  • a spinner
  • a front-mounted faux coin slot button
  • a key-switch as a "shift" key to minimize dedicated admin. buttons)
  • 1-player, 2-player and pause buttons
  • Ultimarc Mini-Pac controller handles all buttons, switches, joysticks, trackball and spinner through a single USB connection (a second USB connection to power coin and trackball LED lights)
  • hinged at the bottom back, with bottom door with recessed knob & magnetic "catches"
  • Completely detachable - 2 USB cables and a bottom thin rubber pad (Sears Craftsman tool chest liner) to prevent sliding during active play.  CP can also be used on a coffee table connected to a laptop driving a TV (as an alternate setup for enjoying games! :-)

4)  Marquee - 22.5" wide x 5" high marquee - designed using Pacfont lettering in Microsoft word and artwork scaled (using vector art editing program Inkscape) and arranged in the unique way shown, printed and mounted on plexiglass by Game On Grafix; backlit using Groovy Game Gear's LED set (series of 6 mini-strips of 3 LEDs each)  For hi-res original TIFF file, click "Marquee" tab above.

 

5)  External access to CD/DVD drive and 2 USB ports (for plugging in included "roll-up" keyboard or external controllers (for players 3-4)

6)  Internal top mounted auxiliary power supply to run monitor rotating motor, marquee lights, and fans

7)  Rear door (bottom-hinged) with barrel key lock

8)  4 fans - two mounted at the bottom rear of rear door for fresh air intake, 2 mounted at the top rear for exhaust

9)  Power button (mounted to short panel under rear door) that powers on the computer (directly by rewiring the PC power switch) and indirectly all other machine components (monitor, fans, speakers, rotating monitor motor, marquee) through the use of a Belkin "Smart" power strip/surge protector.  Note:  Surge protector cord exits cabinet through simple/clean hole (slot was cut in wood to install and then filled with wood putty).
